MCSO Citizens Academy Class 2026.1
Thursday March 19, 2026 - MCSO held another Citizens Academy Class for the Students of Class 2026.1. They learned valuable input, awareness and skills to help be vigilant and aware in their communities. They learned about Family Violence and Traffic Stops. They were able to learn and listen to the "behind the scenes", which is valuable insight and awareness to the hard and dangerous work our MCSO Officers do every day!

MCSCAAA General Meeting 03-16-2026
"Sgt Darren Parker, Arson and Explosives Division, Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office, made a presentation to MCSCAAA Members at their March General Meeting. The presentation gave an overview of the scope of services of the Fire Marshal's Office, interface protocols with other government agencies, and some of the specific activities engaged by the Arson and Explosives Division.

"Highway Criminal Interdiction" Training MCSO
MCSCAAA had the opportunity to assist MCSO by providing food for all the Officers and First Responders!!! This course of study entitled “Highway Criminal Interdiction” addresses key components of modern criminal interdiction including professionalism and ethics, Criminal Interdiction 101, K-9 program overview, verbal and non-verbal communication during roadside interviews, identification of vehicle hidden compartments, and commercial motor vehicle criminal interdiction.
