October 27, 2022 - The Fall 2022 MCSO Promotions & Awards Ceremony was held today to commemorate those who have recently been promoted and those who have demonstrated exceptional merits that exemplify Sheriff Henderson’s expectations for the agency.
The event featured presentations by Sheriff Henderson and his Leadership Team of numerous Promotions and Recognitions including the Combat Cross, Professionalism, Compassionate, Life Saving, Meritorious, and Special appreciation to officers recognized by this year by MADD Texas (Mothers Against Drunk Driving).
As always the event was a very impressive occasion and was attended by many local dignitaries, family members of recipients and other local citizens, and again demonstrated all the amazing service the Agency does for the citizens of Montgomery County.
Several MCSCAAA members assisted MCSO in the celebration by welcoming and distributing programs to guests, assisted with seating, and serving refreshments at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Sheriff Henderson thanked the Alumni members individually for their support of MSCO and for their assistance at the ceremony, and recognized the volunteers from the podium during his opening remarks.
