April 10, 2022 - Today begins National Public Safety Telecommunicator's Week in the United States, and MCSCAAA members send a big salute and word of thanks to the men and women of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center. NPSTW is held annually during the second week of April to honor telecommunications personnel all around the nation for their commitment, service and sacrifice, and MCSCAAA wants these people to know how much we appreciate all they do for the citizens of Montgomery County. Over the past year, the MCSO Dispatch Center answered more than 650,000 calls, with more than 225,000 of those being 911 emergency calls for service. Well done, MCSO dispatchers!
