May 26, 2022 - Students from MCSO Citizens Academy Class 2022.1 reached the end of their 15- week journey to graduation, as Sheriff Rand Henderson joined Specialist Steven Squier to present the students their completion certificates and welcome them to the MCSO family as new Academy graduates. Sheriff Henderson expressed his appreciation to the citizens for attending the classes each week, and the graduates all talked about how much knowledge they gained about MCSO, and how interesting and informative the numerous instructors were in each class. Also, MCSCAAA is very excited that 18 of the students chose to continue their journey with MCSO by joining the Alumni Association upon graduation, and are new members of our group. It was a fun and exciting evening for everyone, which was attended by numerous family members of the graduates, several of whom are looking forward to attending the next academy class themselves.
